Job Title: Change Manager

Location:

Gauteng, Johannesburg Metro, Sandton

Job Type:

12 month contract, expected to work full-time hours

Job Duties:

  • Develop and implement change management strategies and plans
  • Lead and support the execution of change initiatives
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure successful change implementation
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation plans
  • Provide guidance and support to employees during periods of change
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of change management processes

Required Qualifications:

  • A suitable B-degree with Behavioural Sciences as main subject (e.g. Industrial Psychology)
  • Proven experience in change management roles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Experience:

  • 5-10 years of proven performance in a similar Change Management role
  • Experience in leading change in systems implementation projects will be essential
  • Experience in leading and managing internal and external stakeholders is essential.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of change management principles and methodologies
  • Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Proficiency in project management tools and techniques
  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Organisational Psychology or related field
  • Change management certification
  • Experience working in the HR industry

Scope of work:

  • Development of the business case for change
  • Identify all impacted stakeholders and map the change impact
  • Conduct sponsorship alignment and develop a sponsor roadmap
  • Conduct communication needs assessment and assess existing communications channels
  • Conduct training needs assessment and coordinate the development of a training plan (methodology, approach, content development, and delivery)
  • Schedule and conduct all Communication sessions with general stakeholders as well as Leadership
  • Provide governance to the team regarding Change Management and Communication best practices
  • Develop adoption and reinforcement plans
  • Provide status updates to the Core Project Team and Project Leadership
  • Participate in the Kick-off meeting, detailed planning workshops and Steering Committees
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager to ensure all change management activities are integrated with the overall project plan
