We’re building smarter systems, harnessing data, and creating tools that enable our people to resolve disputes efficiently and transparently.

 

As a Data Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the organisation’s data architecture to enable secure, efficient, and scalable access to information. Reporting to the ICT Solutions Manager, you will lead the creation of a centralised data lake to optimise Power BI enquiries and design a SharePoint file management structure that aligns with organisational needs.

 

You will work closely with colleagues in Information Governance, Data Analytics and Reporting, and other business stakeholders to ensure that data assets are well-structured, integrated, and governed to support decision-making, compliance, and digital transformation initiatives.

 

This is an 18-month fixed term contract.

 

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Design and implement a secure, scalable enterprise data architecture and data lake.
  • Develop data models, integration pipelines, and SharePoint file structures.
  • Ensure data governance, quality, and compliance.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to deliver data solutions.
  • Document and improve data workflows and processes.

 

Experience:

  • Experience in data architecture, including building cloud-based data lakes, implementing ETL processes and API-based integrations.
  • Expertise in Power BI, analytics, and SharePoint content management.
  • Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance standards.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to manage complex workloads and drive improvements.
