UAL is made up of six renowned colleges and hosts several institutes that further the university’s mission and social purpose. Under the leadership of our new President and Vice-Chancellor, we are designing the University around social purpose; through the students and ideas we send out into the world, and the partnerships we build to achieve social, environmental, and economic progress.

Digital & Technology at UAL is on an exciting journey, transitioning from a ‘classic’ IT approach to a user-centred product approach to technology. We are investing in our people, and the processes enabled by digital, to evolve and transform the student and staff experience at UAL.

As a UX Designer, you will be a key member of the user experience practice, ensuring that all digital products and services are designed with the user at the core. This role will be instrumental in establishing and embedding UX, design, research, and accessibility standards across the team.

You will be responsible for delivering user-centric, data-driven designs that align with agile methodologies, enabling the team to deliver value swiftly. The role will also be an active member in our design community in Digital and Technology.

In this recruitment round, we are seeking a UX Designer to work across our Student Experience service teams as we focus on creating and enhancing a seamless and reliable digital experience.

We welcome applications from experienced UX Designers who want to work for an organisation that is committed to social purpose and is growing to face new opportunities and challenges.

  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders and multidisciplinary agile teams to deliver iterative, user-centered solutions at pace.
