As Director of Finance for Gateways, you will report to the Head Teacher and will be a key part of the leadership team for the organisation, helping to shape and deliver the school’s strategic plan and ensuring robust financial management and effective financial controls. Key areas of responsibility will include, producing annual budgets, leadership of financial processes and systems, ensuring compliance with charity commission financial regulations, production of regular financial analysis and reporting to the Governing Board, management of external relationships, leading procurement exercises, project management including leading on capital expenditure projects, preparing business cases and tenders for external funding.
They are looking for a strong financial leader with proven track record operating at senior management level and expertise in leading a team and in managing a wide range of stakeholders. Experience in leading procurement and tender processes is essential, alongside the ability to prepare and present business cases and manage projects from inception to completion.
