Education Recruitment Consultant Job based in Bristol

Uncapped commission (1st year OTE £24,600-30k, 2nd year OTE £35-45k)

Your new company

Hays Education are looking for a trainee Recruitment Consultant to join our high performing team. You will be specialising within the Education market working with schools across our region to ensure they have staff matched to their needs. You will have full support of your dedicated Education Manager to onboard and train you within Education recruitment where you will become an expert in your field. No prior recruitment experience is necessary, but we are looking for ambitious and sales driven individuals.

Your new role

You will be working within our number one Education team, providing dedicated support to schools by sourcing candidates and matching them to suitable roles. You will be working with Education professionals in this exciting market whilst managing a portfolio of warm clients who are loyal to Hays, therefore the position does not require you to make cold calls.

You will have responsibility of the following:

• Managing job vacancies from start to finish
• Screening, interviewing and shortlisting candidates
• Matching the best candidates to the best jobs
• Building relationships with existing clients
• Gathering compliance and rights to work
• Advertising jobs

What you'll need to succeed

You will be passionate about people and supporting within the Education sector and empathetic to the needs of those you work with. You will be a determined individual who is driven by success. It is important that you are ambitious, sales driven, and thrive in a corporate sales environment. You will have excellent interpersonal skills to enable you to deal credibly with your clients and candidates and have a thirst for knowledge to develop your expertise in your specialist area.
