Help people build more independent lives Transforming Support is looking for experienced Support Workers to support adults with learning disabilities and complex needs in their own homes in Birmingham. You will build trusted relationships and provide practical support, reassurance and encouragement, helping each person develop confidence, make their own choices and live as independently as possible. These are full time, permanent positions, open to both men and women who meet the essential requirements. Benefits include: A discretionary £1,000 annual bonus, 28 days’ annual leave including bank holidays and a fully funded enhanced DBS check. What you’ll be doing
Each person’s needs, preferences and goals will guide your work. You will respect their dignity, rights and choices while helping them do as much as possible for themselves. About you You will be compassionate, patient and dependable, with a calm approach when needs or circumstances change. You must understand the importance of safeguarding and confidentiality, follow agreed support plans and work positively as part of a team. Experience supporting adults with learning disabilities or complex needs would be particularly useful. What you’ll get
