Earn £14 an hour as a Support Worker, with a discretionary £1,000 annual bonus and work that helps people live more independently. Support Worker Salary: £14.00 per hour, equivalent to £28,028 per annum based on 38.5 hours per week Hours: Full time, 38.5 hours per week Shift pattern: Three shifts one week and four shifts the next, including alternate weekends Vacancies: Two day positions and two night positions Benefits include: A discretionary £1,000 annual bonus, 28 days’ annual leave including bank holidays and a fully funded enhanced DBS check About Transforming Support At Transforming Support, we believe everyone should have the opportunity to live a quality life, make their own choices and work towards goals that genuinely matter to them. Our Harvest Rise supported living service provides person centred support to adults with learning disabilities and a range of complex needs. We focus on what each person can achieve, helping them develop independence and enjoy greater confidence, choice and control. The role As a Support Worker, you will provide consistent, respectful support to people living in their own homes. This is not about doing everything for someone. It is about helping each person do as much as possible for themselves, make informed choices and build a life that reflects their interests, goals and individual needs. The difference you make could involve helping someone manage their home, prepare a meal, look after their health, attend an appointment, pursue a personal interest or become more involved in their community. You will take time to understand what matters to each person and provide the right balance of practical support, reassurance and encouragement. What you’ll be doing
What you’ll need We are looking for someone who:
Experience supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs or complex needs would be advantageous. Full training will be provided to help you develop your knowledge and succeed in the role. You must already have the right to work in the UK, as we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for these roles. What you’ll get
