Part Time Chauffeur / Executive Driver

Location: Wirral and West Cheshire
Contract: Part time, self employed
Pay: Paid per booking, typically equivalent to £15.50 to £18 per hour

Our client is an established executive ground transport business that has supported corporate customers for more than 20 years. Its reputation is built on professionalism, punctuality, reliability and a personal approach.

The business provides airport transfers, hotel and restaurant journeys, event transport and other executive travel for established, long term customers. Its vehicles are immaculately maintained, and its chauffeurs are selected for their discretion, attention to detail and ability to provide a safe, comfortable and polished service.

Due to continued growth, our client is looking for an additional part time Chauffeur to join its trusted team from September.

This is not simply a driving role. Customers expect excellent service throughout every journey, so you will need to be organised, presentable, adaptable and able to respond calmly when plans or timings change.

The role

You will:

• Transport business professionals and VIP customers safely and comfortably
• Plan journeys carefully and arrive in plenty of time
• Monitor traffic, flight times and possible delays
• Communicate clearly and professionally with customers
• Provide a discreet, courteous and polished service
• Keep the executive vehicle clean and immaculately presented
• Work flexibly, including some early mornings, evenings and weekends

The main weekly schedule is issued each Friday for the following Monday to Sunday, giving you time to review and accept bookings. Additional or amended bookings may occasionally arise at shorter notice.

What we are looking for

Previous chauffeur experience is not essential. What matters most is that you are reliable, personable and take genuine pride in doing a job properly.

You must live in the Cheshire West or Wirral area. Applications from outside this area will not be considered.

You will also need:

• A clean, full UK driving licence
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Good knowledge of Wirral, West Cheshire and surrounding areas
• The ability to think ahead and solve problems calmly
• High standards of punctuality, discretion and presentation
• Flexibility around bookings and customer requirements
• A suitable safe location, ideally off road parking, to keep the vehicle at home
• A CWAC Private Hire licence, or willingness to complete the process
• The right to work in the UK

Our client will cover the full cost of obtaining the required Cheshire West and Chester Private Hire licence.

This opportunity may suit someone from customer service, hospitality, transport, the emergency services, the armed forces or another trusted professional background who is looking for flexible, long term part time work.

Pay and benefits

Drivers are paid per booking, with waiting time included. As journey lengths and traffic conditions vary, the equivalent hourly rate will differ between bookings, but typically averages around £15.50 to £18 per hour.
