TeacherActive is proud to be working with Primary Schools in Neath, who are looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant. The schools provide a welcoming and inclusive learning environment, with a strong emphasis on developing pupils' confidence, independence and abilities throughout their education.

TeacherActive is looking to take on a motivated Teaching Assistant on a temporary / permanent basis, with an immediate start available. The successful Teaching Assistant will support pupils across Key Stage 1 / KS1 and Key Stage 2 / KS2, working alongside class teachers to deliver engaging learning activities, provide additional classroom support and encourage pupils to develop their confidence and abilities.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

• A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable)

• Experience supporting children within a Primary School or educational setting

• A good understanding of the Primary Curriculum and classroom expectations

• Strong behaviour management and communication skills

• The ability to work effectively alongside teachers and other support staff

• A positive, patient and adaptable approach to supporting children's learning

• A genuine passion for helping children reach their full potential
