As a Teaching Assistant, you will play an important role in helping students feel supported, motivated and confident in their learning. You will work closely with teachers and school staff to create a positive classroom environment, providing additional support to pupils who may need that extra encouragement to succeed.
Whether you're an experienced Teaching Assistant or someone with relevant experience working with young people, we would love to hear from you!
What will your role involve?
  • Supporting students across a variety of subjects within a secondary school environment
  • Providing one-to-one support and assisting with small group interventions
  • Encouraging students to engage positively with their learning and build confidence
  • Supporting pupils with a range of abilities and additional learning needs
  • Assisting teachers with classroom activities and maintaining a positive learning environment
  • Building strong, supportive relationships with pupils and staff
What are we looking for?
  • A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or experience working with young people
  • Previous experience within a school or similar educational setting is desirable
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Confidence in supporting classroom behaviour and encouraging positive engagement
  • A patient, approachable and enthusiastic attitude
  • A genuine passion for supporting young people and making a difference in education
