Hours: Monday to Thursday, 2:00pm to 10:00pm

Our client, a leading food manufacturing company, is seeking Production Operatives to join their team on a permanent afternoon shift. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful and growing business that offers a great work-life balance with a four-day working week and paid breaks.

The Role

As a Production Operative, you will be responsible for supporting the smooth and efficient operation of the production line while ensuring the highest standards of quality, food safety, hygiene, and health and safety are maintained at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Working on food production lines to meet daily production targets.
• Assisting with machine set-ups, line changeovers, and production start-ups.
• Carrying out quality checks, including weight, labelling, appearance, and temperature checks.
• Completing production records and paperwork accurately.
• Maintaining high standards of hygiene and housekeeping.
• Following all health and safety procedures and safe working practices.
• Ensuring products are correctly labelled and fully traceable.
• Reporting any faults, defects, hazards, or quality concerns.
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the production area.
• Working flexibly across different areas of the factory as required.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous production, manufacturing, warehouse, or food industry experience is desirable.
• Good understanding of quality, hygiene, and health and safety standards.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Good attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking approach.
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
