Customer Service Advisor

Location: Winsford, Crewe

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm, Occasional weekend work may be required

Duration: Temporary ongoing

Payrate: £13.21 per hour

The role:
Our client is looking to recruit a friendly, professional and proactive Customer Service Advisor to join their busy team in Crewe. This role will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, handling enquiries and supporting customers throughout their journey.

The successful candidate will be confident communicating with customers over the telephone and via email, able to deal with queries professionally and efficiently, and comfortable working in a busy environment. You will be organised, reliable and able to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a high level of customer service.

Main Duties:

• Handling incoming calls and responding to customer enquiries
• Making outgoing calls to customers where required
• Responding to emails in a professional and timely manner
• Dealing with customer queries, complaints and requests
• Providing accurate information and resolving issues wherever possible
• Processing customer orders and updating relevant systems
• Maintaining accurate customer records and information
• Liaising with internal teams, suppliers and other departments to resolve customer queries
• Following up on customer enquiries and ensuring they are dealt with promptly
• Keeping customers updated on the progress of their orders or queries
• Providing a friendly and professional customer experience at all times
• Completing general administration and data entry as required
• Supporting the wider team with ad-hoc duties

About you:

• Previous customer service experience is desirable
• Excellent communication and telephone skills
• Friendly, approachable and professional manner
• Confident dealing with customers and handling queries
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• Able to remain calm and professional when dealing with difficult situations
• Confident using computer systems and Microsoft Office
• A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Committed to providing a high level of customer service
