Salary: £95 - £115 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a specialist school in Selly Oak supporting pupils with Autism, all of whom have an EHCP. The school provides a supportive and nurturing environment focused on giving pupils the continuity, security and specialist support they need to thrive.

The school is looking to appoint SEND Teaching Assistants for day-to-day and long-term opportunities, with flexible options available depending on your availability. The successful SEND Teaching Assistant will support pupils across different age groups, providing individual and classroom support while helping pupils develop their confidence, independence and engagement with learning.

The successful SEND Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience working with children or young people with SEND

• Experience supporting pupils with Autism / ASD

• Experience working with pupils with EHCPs

• Confidence supporting pupils across different age groups

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills

• A patient, resilient and adaptable approach
