We are recruiting for an experienced Care Home Manager, Residential Home Manager or Registered Manager to lead a residential care home in Huyton, Liverpool, Merseyside.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Home Manager or Registered Manager with a strong background in residential care, elderly care and care home management.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the home, managing the care team and ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality and person-centred care.

Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.

The Role – Residential Care Home Manager

As the Care Home Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day management and successful operation of the residential care home.

You will provide effective leadership and ensure that residents receive exceptional standards of care in a safe, welcoming and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operation of the residential care home
• Lead, motivate and support the care team
• Deliver and maintain high-quality, person-centred residential care
• Ensure the safety, wellbeing, dignity and independence of residents
• Maintain excellent standards of care home compliance
• Ensure the home meets relevant regulatory and quality standards
• Manage staff recruitment, rotas and staffing levels
• Conduct staff supervision, appraisals and performance management
• Support staff training and professional development
• Monitor care quality and drive continuous improvement
• Manage relationships with residents, families and external professionals
• Ensure policies and procedures are followed
• Promote a positive and supportive culture throughout the care home

We are looking for an experienced, caring and motivated care professional with strong leadership skills and experience within residential care or elderly care.

• Experience working within a residential care home or elderly care setting
• Previous management or senior leadership experience within the care sector
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Experience managing and developing care staff
• A genuine passion for high-quality, person-centred care
• Good knowledge of care home compliance and quality standards
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• The ability to build positive relationships with residents and families
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
