FLT Counterbalance and Reach Driver - Birmingham

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a FLT Counterbalance and Reach Driver to join our well-established client based in Erdington.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable and supportive business, offering ongoing work with the potential for long-term development.

This role would be suitable for candidates with experience as a Forklift Truck Operator, Counterbalance Driver or Reach Truck Driver.

Rates of Pay:

• £13.21 per hour

Shift Pattern:

• Monday to Friday
• Rotating shifts: • 06:00 - 14:00 / 14:00 - 22:00

Day-to-Day Duties:

As a FLT Counterbalance and Reach Driver, you will work:

• Operating Counterbalance and Reach Forklift Trucks safely and efficiently
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Picking, packing and preparing customer orders
• Carrying out manual handling duties where required
• Supporting goods-in and goods-out operations
• Stock movement and stock location duties within the warehouse
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment

Essential Skills:

To be successful as a FLT Counterbalance and Reach Driver, you will need:

• Valid Counterbalance and Reach Truck certificates
• Previous experience operating Counterbalance and Reach Forklift Trucks
• A willingness to undertake manual handling duties
• Good reliability and a strong work ethic
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail
• Good communication skills

Training:

• Full training provided
• Ongoing development and support
