The school is looking to take on a Teaching Assistant on a long-term basis from September. The successful Teaching Assistant will support pupils with their learning, work alongside the class teacher, assist with classroom activities and provide general support to help maintain a positive learning environment.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience working with children or young people in an educational setting
• Previous experience supporting pupils within a mainstream school is desirable
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to work effectively alongside teachers and other support staff
• A positive and enthusiastic approach to supporting learning
• Reliability, adaptability and a ‘can-do’ attitude
