An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Nursing Home Manager to join an outstanding care provider and lead a luxury nursing home in Liverpool.

We are looking for a passionate and experienced RGN or RMN-qualified nurse with previous nursing home management experience who is committed to delivering exceptional standards of clinical care, resident wellbeing and service quality.

About the Nursing Home Manager Role

As Nursing Home Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the day-to-day management and performance of the nursing home. You will provide strong clinical and operational leadership, ensuring residents receive safe, high-quality and person-centred nursing care.

You will lead and develop the nursing and care teams while maintaining excellent standards of CQC compliance, clinical governance, safeguarding and resident care.

Key Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for the management of the nursing home.
• Lead, motivate and develop the nursing, care and support teams.
• Ensure consistently high standards of nursing care and resident wellbeing.
• Maintain full compliance with CQC regulations and legislation.
• Oversee clinical governance, audits, medication management and care planning.
• Ensure safeguarding procedures and risk management processes are robust.
• Recruit, retain and develop high-quality nursing and care staff.
• Build strong relationships with residents, relatives and healthcare professionals.
• Monitor and improve quality, compliance and operational performance.
• Promote a positive, compassionate and person-centred culture throughout the home.

About You – Nursing Home Manager

The successful candidate will be an experienced Nursing Home Manager, Registered Manager or Senior Nurse Manager with a strong clinical background.

Essential requirements:

• RGN or RMN qualification.
• Previous experience managing a nursing home or care home.
• Strong clinical knowledge and leadership experience.
• Good understanding of CQC, clinical governance and safeguarding.
• Experience managing and developing nursing and care teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A genuine passion for providing high-quality elderly care.
• Strong organisational, leadership and problem-solving skills.

Experience within a luxury care home, premium nursing home or high-end residential care environment would be highly desirable.
