Upper KS2 Primary Teacher – South Manchester

Milk Education is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated UKS2 Primary Teachers to work across a range of primary schools in South Manchester.

We're looking to connect with qualified teachers and ECTs who are confident teaching pupils in Years 5 and 6 and are passionate about helping children prepare for the next stage of their education.

We're open to teachers with a range of backgrounds and experience, with opportunities available across different primary school settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the UKS2 curriculum
• Teach and support pupils across Years 5 and 6
• Differentiate learning to meet individual needs and abilities
• Prepare pupils for the transition to secondary education
• Monitor, assess and track pupil progress
• Maintain high expectations for learning and behaviour
• Encourage pupils to become confident and independent learners
• Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and families
• Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants and wider school teams

What We're Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• ECTs are encouraged to apply
• Experience teaching UKS2 / Years 5 and 6 is desirable
• Strong knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
• A confident, adaptable and engaging teaching style
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A genuine passion for helping pupils achieve their potential

This role is paid within the advertised pay scale. Your starting rate will be determined by your qualifications, relevant experience and the requirements of the assignment.
