General Operative AM - Appleton Thorn

People Solutions are currently recruiting for General Operatives to work for our client based in Appleton Thorn, Warrington.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering ongoing work, great benefits, and genuine opportunities for growth and progression within a well-established business.

This position would be suitable for applicants who have previously worked as a Production Operative, Assembly Operative, or Manufacturing Operative.

Due to the location of the site, access to your own transport is required.

Rates of Pay:

• £14.11 - £16.45 per hour
• Pay rate dependent on experience and skills

Shift Pattern:

• Monday to Thursday: 07:00 - 16:00
• Friday: 07:00 - 12:00

Day-to-Day Duties:

Your duties as a General Operative are:

• Loading raw materials into machines
• Assembling products
• Operating machinery
• Carrying out quality checks
• Packing stock into boxes
• Labelling boxes and ensuring correct colour coding
• Maintaining housekeeping standards

Essential Skills:

To be successful as a General Operative, you will need:

• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Good dexterity and practical skills
• Computer literacy and confidence using IT systems
• A motivated and energetic approach to work
• Good communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail

Training:

• Full training provided
• Ongoing support throughout your assignment
