HGV Class 2 Delivery Driver – Temp to Perm

Pay: £15.00 per hour
Hours: Up to 50 hours per week
Overtime: 1.33x after 45 hours

We’re recruiting an experienced HGV Class 2 Delivery Driver for a temp-to-perm opportunity with a well-established company based in Newent.

This is a great opportunity for a reliable driver looking for long-term, permanent work with a varied role and competitive overtime rates.

The Role

• Delivering products across England
• 5–10 drops per day
• Driving a mix of 18-tonne HGVs, 7.5-tonne lorries and 3.5-tonne vans
• Early starts from 3am onwards
• Up to 50 hours per week
• Overtime paid at 1.33x after 45 hours
• Occasional overnight stays
• Manual handling involved

The Ideal Candidate

• Valid HGV Class 2 licence
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous delivery driving experience
• Good knowledge of UK motorway networks
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
• Reliable, professional and flexible
• Own transport due to the location and early start times
