Warehouse Operative 

We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join our team at our Rochdale site with an immediate start available. While there is a possibility that the assignment could be extended beyond September, this cannot be guaranteed.

The Role

This is a hands-on warehouse position where the primary responsibility will be order picking. You will also support the packing operation and assist our machine operator, receiving full training on the machinery as required.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately pick customer orders.
• Pack products safely and efficiently for dispatch.
• Assist the machine operator with day-to-day production tasks.
• Work safely around warehouse machinery and follow all health and safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient working environment.
• Support the wider warehouse team as required.

What We're Looking For

• Previous order-picking experience is essential.
• Experience working in a warehouse environment.
• Comfortable working in a hands-on role alongside machinery.
• Willingness to learn and be trained on machine operation.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.

Hours and Overtime

• Monday to Friday, 08:00-16:00.
• Overtime will be available during busy periods, including some weekend work.
