TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming mainstream Primary School based in Swadlincote, who are looking to appoint a Primary Teacher. The school provides a positive and supportive learning environment where staff work together to help pupils develop academically, socially and personally.

The school is looking to take on a Primary Teacher on a full-time, long-term basis from September 2026 until July 2027. The successful Primary Teacher will take full responsibility for a Year 5 class, including planning and delivering engaging lessons, assessing pupil progress, managing behaviour and working closely with colleagues and parents.

The successful Primary Teacher will have:

• QTS
• Experience teaching within a UK Primary School
• Strong knowledge of the Primary Curriculum, particularly Key Stage 2 / KS2
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management
• Confidence with planning, assessment and full teacher responsibilities
• A positive, committed and adaptable approach
