We’re currently recruiting for Aspiring Primary Teachers to join Primary Schools across North Durham on a long or short-term basis starting in September.

Main Responsibilities:

• Providing one-to-one and small-group support tailored to pupils' individual learning needs
• Assisting with the delivery of targeted intervention and catch-up sessions to help pupils bridge learning gaps
• Collaborating with the class teacher to support lesson planning and adapt learning resources to meet diverse needs
• Fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom environment where every pupil feels valued, respected, and included

Requirements or Skills:

• Recent experience working in a school or education setting (preferred)
• A Level 2 or 3 qualification in childcare, education or similar — or equivalent hands-on experience (preferred)
• Comfortable taking direction from the class teacher and working as part of a team
• Passion for working with children
• Solid numeracy and literacy skills
• No relocation, lives locally to the Northeast
