Accounting Director

Location: Berlin
Languages: Fluent German and English required
Salary: €80,000 - 90,000

We are looking for an experienced Accounting professional to lead the accounting function within a growing international hospitality business.

This is a hands-on leadership role, responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting while developing processes, systems, and the wider finance team to support the company's continued growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the national and international accounting team
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
• Ensure compliance with HGB and IFRS requirements
• Drive the standardisation and improvement of accounting processes across international entities
• Support consolidation and group reporting
• Develop systems, automation, and reporting processes
• Work closely with auditors, tax advisors, banks, and other external partners
• Support wider finance projects and the continued growth of the business

About You

• Several years of experience in accounting, ideally in a senior or leadership position
• Strong knowledge of HGB and IFRS
• Experience working within an international environment
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems and process improvement
• Strong leadership skills with a hands-on approach
• Structured, analytical, and commercially minded
• Fluent German and English
