Milk Education is working with a range of welcoming and supportive primary schools across Leeds who are looking for passionate and creative EYFS Teachers to join their teams from September 2026.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Early Years Teacher or ECT who is passionate about giving children the very best start to their education. You’ll be joining a nurturing environment where curiosity, creativity, play, and child development are at the heart of learning.
The Role
As an EYFS Teacher, you will:
Plan and deliver engaging, play-based learning experiences in line with the EYFS framework
Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment
Support children’s communication, language, physical, social, and emotional development
Observe, assess, and record children’s progress and development
Differentiate activities to meet the individual needs of every child
Build strong and trusting relationships with children, parents, and carers
Work closely with Teaching Assistants and other professionals to support pupil development
Encourage independence, confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning
Promote positive behaviour and maintain high safeguarding standards
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
A qualified teacher with QTS or equivalent
Experienced in EYFS or passionate about developing their Early Years practice
Knowledgeable about the EYFS curriculum and Early Learning Goals
Creative, nurturing, and enthusiastic
Confident in supporting children's individual learning and development
Skilled at building positive relationships with children and families
Committed to creating an inclusive environment where every child can thrive
ECTs with relevant EYFS experience are encouraged to apply.
