TeacherActive is proud to be working with a small and friendly nursery in Central York that is looking to appoint a Nursery Practitioner. The setting offers a warm and supportive environment, with a fantastic outdoor area including a Forest School where children are encouraged to learn through exploration, play and creativity.

The nursery is looking to appoint a part-time Nursery Practitioner on a long-term basis with an immediate start. The successful Nursery Practitioner will support children across the early years, delivering engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework while creating a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment for every child.

The successful Nursery Practitioner will have:

• Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent)
• Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• Experience working within a nursery or early years setting
• A caring, enthusiastic and proactive approach
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development
