The Headteacher is seeking to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic NQT / ECT Maths Teacher on a long-term basis until the end of the academic year, with the possibility of a permanent position for the right candidate. This role is ideal for early career teachers eager to gain valuable experience in a mainstream setting.

Key Responsibilities

As a Maths Teacher, you will:

• Teach Maths across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4)
• Support pupils in preparing for their GCSE Maths examinations
• Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons
• Implement the school’s schemes of learning effectively
• Develop strong classroom and behaviour management skills, supported by experienced colleagues

Candidate Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Maths
• Experience teaching Maths during training placements or previous roles (NQTs and ECTs are encouraged to apply)
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A positive, adaptable, and proactive approach to teaching
• A genuine passion for supporting pupil progress and achievement
