Rolling Mill Setter

Masstemps Ltd are currently recruiting for a Rolling Mill Setter on behalf of one of our busy clients in the Wolverhampton area.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established manufacturer specialising in  steel sections. This is a permanent position offering long-term stability, excellent working conditions and the opportunity to become part of an experienced manufacturing team.

Hours:

• Monday to Friday: Days

Salary:

• £15ph - £16ph 

Duties:

• Setting and operating cold roll forming (rolling mill) machinery.
• Preparing and setting tooling to ensure efficient production runs.
• Carrying out routine machine adjustments and troubleshooting where required.
• Performing basic maintenance and reporting any mechanical issues.
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and production specifications.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience setting and operating rolling mill machinery.
• Experience within a steel manufacturing or roll forming environment.
• The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and fault-finding skills.
