Head of Learning & Development

Reporting to the Chief People Officer, the Head of Learning & Development will create and deliver a world-class learning culture that enhances employee performance, leadership capability, guest experience, and organisational effectiveness.

This is both a strategic and operational leadership role, responsible for designing innovative learning solutions that support a diverse workforce across multiple luxury hospitality venues.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the Group's Learning & Development strategy, aligned with business objectives.
• Create leadership and management development programmes that build a strong internal talent pipeline.
• Design and oversee onboarding, service excellence, compliance, technical skills, and succession planning initiatives.
• Partner with senior leaders to identify capability gaps and future talent requirements.
• Lead performance and talent development frameworks across all sites.
• Drive a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
• Oversee learning technologies, digital learning platforms, and content development.
• Measure learning effectiveness through meaningful KPIs and business impact metrics.
• Manage external training providers, educational partnerships, and learning budgets.
• Lead, coach, and develop the Learning & Development team.

Experience

• Significant senior Learning & Development leadership experience within luxury hospitality or a related service industry.
• Experience operating across multiple sites or business units.
• Proven success in leadership development, talent management, and organisational capability building.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at executive level.
• Experience implementing modern learning technologies and blended learning solutions.
• Strong project management and change leadership capabilities.
