Hours: Monday–Friday | Early/late shifts 06:00–14:00 / 14:00–22:00

What You Will Be Doing

As an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / LGV Fitter / HGV Fitter you will be responsible for:

• Servicing and repairing HGVs, LGVs and commercial vehicles to DVSA and manufacturer standards
• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults on HGVs, trailers and LGVs as an experienced HGV Mechanic
• Completing inspections, maintenance and documentation accurately
• Supporting workshop productivity and maintaining a clean, safe working environment
• Staying up to date with technical training and new technology as a Commercial Vehicle Technician

What You Will Need

To be considered as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic, LGV Fitter, HGV Fitter or Commercial Vehicle Technician you will need:

• Proven experience as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic, LGV Fitter or HGV Fitter within a commercial vehicle environment
• Level 3 Heavy Vehicle Maintenance qualification (NVQ / City & Guilds / IMI or equivalent)
• Strong diagnostic and problem solving skills
• Full UK driving licence
• Class 1 licence (desirable)
