We are currently seeking an experienced Equipment Engineer to join a fast-paced, high-tech manufacturing environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on engineer who enjoys problem-solving, working with complex equipment, and making a real impact on production performance. As an Equipment Engineer, you'll be part of a busy engineering team responsible for ensuring production equipment runs safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime. The role combines reactive fault finding with planned maintenance and continuous improvement activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on production equipment
• Diagnose faults and restore equipment performance quickly and safely
• Support production teams to minimise downtime and improve output
• Assist with ongoing improvements to equipment reliability and efficiency
• Work in line with strict health & safety and quality standards
• Support installation, modification, and optimisation of machinery

Ideal Candidate

• HNC Qualified (Electrical) or similar
• Experience with precision manufacturing
• Background in engineering (electrical, mechanical, or multi-skilled)
• Experience of working with hazardous chemicals
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
• Proactive approach with a focus on continuous improvement
• Clean room experience
