Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading manufacturer in their search for a CNC Setter to work in their leading facility in Halesowen.

For the successful CNC Setter our client is offering:

  • Starting pay rate of £15 - £16 per hour
  • 7am-4:45pm Monday to Thursday - 37 hours per week
  • Permanent position
  • Free Parking
  • Overtime opportunities are paid at x1.5 (Time and a half)

The role - CNC Setter:

  • Managing offsets and monitoring quality
  • Use of relevant tools (Micrometers & Verniers)
  • Setting of tools and fixtures, making required adjustments to offsets on all CNC machines.
  • CNC Machining prototypes or production batch work
  • Machining of a variety of materials
  • Look after the day to day maintenance of the CNC machining centres
  • Keep work area and C.N.C clean, tidy and safe at all times
  • Working to different tolerances
  • Working from engineering drawings
  • Perform routine maintenance of machinery/equipment
  • Machining own JIGS and fixtures

What our client is looking for in a CNC Setter:

  • Experienced with Fanuc Controls or Heidenhain
  • Able to use Measurement Tools
  • Able to read from drawings
  • Experience machining various materials
  • Methodical approach to work
  • Able to work on a variety of projects 
  • Milling or Turning experience
