Working Pattern

• 3 Week Rotation:
• Week 1: Early morning flight to arrive on site no later than noon on Monday. (Monday 12pm – 4pm & Tuesday – Saturday 7am – 4pm)
• Week 2: Monday to Saturday (Monday - Saturday 7am – 4pm)
• Week 3: Monday to Wednesday (Monday – Tuesday 7am – 4pm & Wednesday 7am – 11:30am). Travel home Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday off.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver all electrical construction works throughout the project.
• Direct daily electrical activities on site, collaborating with construction and project delivery teams.
• Oversee QA/QC requirements, ensuring quality procedures are followed and installations meet approved specifications and project standards.
• Coordinate electrical activities and programme requirements with planners, project managers, subcontractors, consultants, and design disciplines.
• Monitor and manage electrical subcontractors, including workforce levels, construction progress, productivity, and regular coordination meetings.
• Ensure subcontractor records and all required technical, project, and Health & Safety documentation are current.
• Participate in and, where required, lead key project meetings including site coordination, engineering reviews, planning sessions, and handover meetings.
• Work closely with the design function to ensure drawings, technical submissions, and required construction information are released according to programme priorities.
• Review electrical drawings, specifications, and technical submissions to confirm compliance, quality, and constructability prior to and during installation.
• Maintain high standards of Health & Safety, promoting safe working practices across the electrical team and subcontract supply chain.
• Assist with commercial oversight by monitoring variations and costs and participating in regular commercial reviews.
• Prepare and communicate progress reports to senior management and the wider project delivery team.
• Coordinate electrical snagging, ensuring outstanding items are recorded, monitored, and closed within required timescales.
• Identify potential technical, design, and interface issues early and work with relevant parties for timely resolution.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a comparable engineering discipline.
• Minimum of 7+ years' electrical construction experience, including significant responsibility for site-based delivery.
• Demonstrable experience managing electrical packages and systems on major construction projects.
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, multidisciplinary coordination, and programme management.
• Excellent leadership, communication, organisational, and coordination capabilities.
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, installation methodologies, and commissioning activities.
• Proven ability to manage electrical subcontractors and drive works against agreed project milestones and delivery targets.
• Previous experience within data centres, industrial facilities, or other mission-critical environments is advantageous.
