TeacherActive is proud to be working with a number of welcoming mainstream primary schools across Leeds that are seeking reliable and enthusiastic Primary School Cover Teachers for day-to-day and short-term cover.

As a Primary School Cover Teacher, you will step into different classrooms to deliver pre-planned lessons, maintain positive behaviour and ensure pupils continue to receive high-quality learning during staff absences. Opportunities are available across KS1 and KS2, with occasional work within EYFS depending on your experience.

The successful Primary School Cover Teacher will have:

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)

• Experience teaching within a UK primary school

• Confidence teaching across KS1 and/or KS2

• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

• A good understanding of safeguarding and child protection

• A flexible and adaptable approach to different school environments
