TeacherActive are looking for a full-time Teaching Assistant with experience in ALN and delivering interventions (1:1 and small groups) for a primary school in Swansea The goal is to close learning gaps, build literacy and numeracy skills, and ensure students can access the main curriculum. The successful candidate will start after October half term, and it will initially be until Christmas, however there is an opportunity this role could extend for the right person. 

Candidates must:

• Have a minimum of 6 months experience working in a primary school
• Have relevant ALN experience
• Be confident supporting targeted interventions
• Deliver Targeted Sessions: Plan and run structured 1:1 or small group interventions for pupils struggling academically or socially.
• Assess and Track Progress: Monitor child progress, assess their understanding during sessions, and provide feedback to the classroom teacher and ALNco
• Prepare resources :Set up specific learning materials, games, and technology tailored to the intervention being delivered.
• Work closely with the class teacher to align intervention sessions with the overall curriculum.
