TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream secondary school in Sheffield who are looking to appoint a PE Teacher. The school provides a welcoming learning environment for secondary-aged students, with a focus on supporting pupils to develop their confidence, skills and academic progress.

The school is looking to take on a PE Teacher on a full-time basis, starting ASAP. The successful PE Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging practical and theoretical PE lessons to secondary-aged students, maintaining strong behaviour management and supporting pupils to make progress within the subject.

The successful PE Teacher will have:

• QTS with a relevant PE specialism (ECTs are welcome to apply)
• Experience teaching PE within a secondary school setting
• Strong knowledge of the secondary PE curriculum
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A positive and adaptable approach to teaching
