TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming mainstream Primary School in Abergavenny, supporting them with their search for a Teaching Assistant. The school provides an inclusive learning environment where pupils with a variety of needs are supported to develop and achieve their potential.

The school is looking to take on a Teaching Assistant on a part-time basis, starting ASAP and supporting within a specific year group. The successful Teaching Assistant will provide general classroom support to pupils with various needs, so flexibility and the ability to adapt to different situations are essential.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience working with children within a Primary School setting
• Experience supporting pupils with a variety of needs
• Strong communication skills
• A flexible and adaptable approach
• A positive ‘can-do’ attitude
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team
