TeacherActive is proud to be working with a SEND provision in Leeds who are looking to appoint a SEND Teacher. The provision supports children and young people with a range of additional needs, including Autism / ASD and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder / ADHD, providing an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

The provision is looking to take on a SEND Teacher for short-term day-to-day cover, with an immediate start. The successful SEND Teacher will deliver engaging and accessible lessons while adapting their teaching to meet individual needs and supporting pupils with their educational, social and emotional development.

The successful SEND Teacher will have:

• QTS
• Experience working with children and young people with SEND
• Experience supporting pupils with Autism / ASD and ADHD
• Team-Teach training is desired but not essential
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• A patient, resilient and adaptable approach
