Registered Veterinary Nurse – Hampshire

£30,200–£34,000 DOE | Full-time or Part-time | Permanent

An established, independent veterinary practice is looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join its experienced nursing team in Hampshire.

With over 130 years of history and modern practices across Alton, Alresford, Bordon and Four Marks, the practice combines a strong community reputation with excellent facilities, including CT, dental X-ray, endoscopy, laparoscopy and advanced monitoring equipment.

Based primarily at the Alton practice, the successful RVN will join a well-resourced nursing team with plenty of opportunity to develop clinical skills and take on additional responsibility. The role would suit an experienced senior nurse or a confident RVN looking to progress into leadership.

Key responsibilities and opportunities include:

• Supporting the day-to-day running of the nursing team and prep area
• Mentoring and supporting colleagues
• Developing leadership and clinical skills
• Taking an active role in Schedule 3 nursing
• Pursuing areas of interest including anaesthesia, medicine, ECC and leadership
• Contributing to the continued development of the nursing team

Previous management experience isn't essential — enthusiasm, initiative and a willingness to develop are more important.
