Service & Warranty Technician

Location: Redditch
Salary: £13ph
Hours: Mon–Thu 7:30am–4:30pm | Fri 7:30am–1:30pm

Are you a hands-on technician with experience in mechanical and electrical repairs? We're recruiting for a Service & Warranty Technician to join a busy, established team, supporting the maintenance, repair, and refurbishment of assembled products.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a manufacturing, engineering, or technical background who enjoys fault finding, problem solving, and working directly with customers to deliver high-quality solutions. You'll get hands-on variety in the role and the chance to work closely with an experienced Quality Team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Book products in and out using SAP systems and RMA processes
• Carry out mechanical and electrical repairs, refurbishment, and overhauls of returned products
• Inspect returned products, identify faults, and troubleshoot issues
• Complete detailed reports outlining findings and recommendations
• Support customer returns and provide technical assistance
• Work closely with the Quality Team to investigate product issues
• Provide occasional on-site technical support when required

Skills & Experience Required:

• Experience within a manufacturing, engineering, or technical environment preferred
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings
• Mechanical and electrical repair experience; soldering experience advantageous
• Comfortable using computer systems, ideally SAP, Microsoft Word, and Excel
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to analyse and present data
• Organised, proactive, and a confident communicator who works well both independently and as part of a team
