The setting is looking for a committed and adaptable SEMH Teaching Assistant who can provide consistent support and help pupils engage positively with their education.

The setting is looking to take on a SEMH Teaching Assistant for part-time, day-to-day cover starting ASAP. The successful SEMH Teaching Assistant will support children and young people with SEMH and complex needs, helping them access learning, manage their emotions and behaviours, and develop positive relationships within the setting.

The successful SEMH Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience working with children and young people with SEMH and complex needs
• Experience supporting pupils with challenging behaviours
• A good understanding of social, emotional and mental health needs
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• A patient and resilient approach
• The ability to adapt to the individual needs of pupils
