LEAD THE TEAM. DRIVE PERFORMANCE. MAKE A DIFFERENCE.

Are you a hands-on Production Supervisor who thrives in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment?

We’re looking for an ambitious Production Supervisor to join a fast-growing, BRC-accredited food manufacturer in Tiverton.

This is a great opportunity to step into a role where you’ll have real influence over people, performance, quality and continuous improvement — with the support and progression opportunities that come with a growing business.

WHY THIS ROLE?

You won’t simply be managing a production line.

You’ll be leading people, improving processes and driving performance, helping the business deliver safely, efficiently and consistently as it continues to grow.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan and coordinate daily, weekly and seasonal production
  • Lead production teams to deliver KPIs, targets and customer requirements
  • Drive continuous improvement and Lean initiatives
  • Ensure food safety, quality and compliance remain non-negotiable
  • Maintain BRC audit readiness and site standards
  • Work closely with Warehouse, Technical and other departments
  • Coach, motivate and develop production teams
  • Identify performance issues and implement practical solutions
  • Ensure all Health & Safety procedures are followed
  • Create a positive culture focused on quality, accountability and teamwork

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

We’re looking for someone who combines strong leadership with a hands-on approach.

You’ll ideally have:

  • Previous supervisory or management experience in food, drink or FMCG manufacturing
  • Experience working within a BRC / audited manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of production planning, KPIs and operational performance
  • Excellent people management and communication skills
  • A hands-on leadership style with a passion for coaching and developing teams
  • Good knowledge of Health & Safety
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing / Continuous Improvement
  • The ability to stay calm, organised and decisive under pressure

WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU?

Join a business that’s growing — and grow with it.

  • £30,000–£35,000 DOE
  • Monday–Friday day shifts
  • Management bonus scheme
  • Annual salary review
  • Free on-site parking
  • Free company products
  • Long-term career progression
  • Opportunity to make a genuine impact within a growing food manufacturer

READY TO STEP UP?

If you’re currently a Production Supervisor, Production Team Leader, Manufacturing Supervisor, Operations Supervisor, Production Shift Manager or Production Manager and you’re ready for your next challenge, we want to hear from you.

Lead the team. Improve the process. Help shape the future of the business.
