TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming private day nursery in the Rochdale area. The setting provides bright, engaging learning environments with a strong focus on child-led learning, outdoor exploration and supporting children to develop their confidence, curiosity and independence.

The nursery is looking to take on a Nursery Practitioner on a long-term basis from September. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will plan and deliver activities to support children’s development, work closely with families to share information about progress and wellbeing, adhere to Early Years regulations and work collaboratively with colleagues to provide high-quality care and education.

The successful Nursery Practitioner will have:

• A Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification in line with government guidelines
• Experience working within an Early Years or nursery setting
• A strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage / EYFS
• Knowledge of safeguarding and the responsibilities of an Early Years Practitioner
• Strong communication skills when working with children, families and colleagues
• A caring, enthusiastic and proactive approach
