Oxbridge Graduate Academic Mentor Graduating from Oxford or Cambridge and looking for a role where your academic background can genuinely change a young person's trajectory?
Want a rewarding graduate role in London that gives you exceptional experience before teaching, academia, psychology or another professional career? KPI Education is searching for an Oxford or Cambridge graduate to join an outstandingly ambitious London secondary school and sixth form as an Oxbridge Graduate Academic Mentor. This is not your typical Teaching Assistant vacancy. The school wants an academically exceptional graduate who can become a mentor, role model and source of inspiration for students with the potential to attend Britain's most competitive universities. Why This Role Could Be Perfect for You
The School Based in London, this high-achieving secondary school has a thriving sixth form and an incredibly ambitious culture. Students are encouraged to think beyond their immediate circumstances and consider the very best universities and careers available to them. The school already has strong academic outcomes but wants to push its most able pupils even further. That's where you come in. Rather than simply supporting classroom administration, you will be used strategically to raise aspirations and academic performance. What Could Your Week Look Like? You might spend the morning stretching a high-achieving Year 11 student targeting top GCSE grades before running a small-group seminar with sixth-form students. Later, you could mentor a student considering an Oxbridge application, support pupils with challenging academic material or help students develop stronger approaches to independent learning. Key responsibilities could include:
Who Are We Looking For? We particularly want to hear from Oxford and Cambridge graduates across all academic disciplines. You don't need previous classroom experience. What matters is your academic credibility, communication skills, intellectual curiosity and ability to connect with ambitious young people. Perhaps you're considering teaching. Maybe you're planning postgraduate study. Or perhaps you simply want your first graduate role to involve something more meaningful than sitting behind a desk. Whatever your longer-term plans, this is an opportunity to spend a year making your academic experience count. Interested? Don't Sit on Your CV. Send your CV to Ryan at KPI Education today to be considered for this Oxbridge Graduate Academic Mentor opportunity in London starting September 2026.
