TeacherActive is proud to be working with a number of private day nurseries across Leeds and Harrogate that are looking for dedicated Early Years Assistants to join their teams on a day-to-day basis. These nurseries provide safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environments where children are encouraged to develop confidence, independence and a love of learning through play-based activities.

The nurseries are looking to recruit enthusiastic Early Years Assistants for flexible day-to-day work with an immediate start available. The successful Early Years Assistant will support children across a range of age groups, assist with daily routines and activities, and work closely with nursery staff to ensure high standards of care and learning are maintained.

The successful Early Years Assistant will have:

• Experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting
• Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Flexibility and reliability
