The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Lead Veterinary Surgeon to step into a Practice Partnership role at a well-equipped small animal practice in Colchester, Essex. This is the perfect opportunity for an ambitious veterinary professional looking to combine clinical leadership with the rewards of practice ownership, without the challenges of running a business alone.

Working within a proven partnership model, the successful candidate will lead the clinical team while benefiting from comprehensive support across finance, HR, marketing, procurement and operations. The practice is equipped with modern facilities including endoscopy, digital X-ray, ultrasound and an in-house laboratory, providing everything needed to deliver high-quality first opinion veterinary care.

The Role

As Lead Veterinary Surgeon and Practice Partner, the successful candidate will provide clinical leadership, mentor and develop the veterinary team, and maintain the highest standards of patient and client care. This role is ideal for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon with previous leadership experience who is ready to take the next step into practice ownership while retaining full clinical autonomy.

• Be an RCVS Registered Veterinary Surgeon.
