4Recruitment Services are seeking  a Housing Officer to work for a housing association based in Morden.

You will help deliver improved responsive services to residents, manage a range of projects and cases, see issues through to resolution, and support customers who may be vulnerable.

This is a Housing Officer role with a strong focus on housing management, tenancy services and neighbourhood work. We are specifically looking for candidates with relevant experience in these areas, who are confident managing a varied caseload and working directly with residents to deliver effective, responsive services.

This is a customer-facing Housing Officer role requires you to attend the Morden office and visit residents’ homes and other locations as needed. The role offers hybrid working, with 2 days from home and the remaining days based at the Morden office or in the community, depending on customer and business needs.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Conducting new tenancy sign-ups and customer needs assessments.
• Supporting the handover of regeneration properties.
• Managing resident enquiries, cases and housing-related issues through to resolution.
• Investigating and resolving complaints, ensuring appropriate actions are completed.
• Supporting residents across blocks or estates when services are disrupted and helping coordinate the restoration of services.
• Organising and delivering estate events and resident engagement activities.
• Coordinating responses to customers by working closely with the Neighbourhood Response, Customer Service and Clarion Response teams.
• Supporting vulnerable residents, identifying their needs and ensuring appropriate support is provided.
• Working collaboratively with internal departments and external partners to resolve complex issues.
• Managing competing priorities while maintaining a high standard of customer service.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:

An experienced Housing Officer with a strong understanding of housing management and tenancy services.

You are likely to have experience in:

• Tenancy management and housing services.
• Neighbourhood management.
• Managing a varied housing caseload.
• Dealing with resident enquiries and complaints.
• Customer engagement and community-based housing services.
• Working collaboratively with different teams to resolve issues.
• Managing projects and taking ownership of cases from start to finish.

You will be a confident communicator who can build positive relationships with residents and colleagues.
