Early Years Practitioner

Early Years Practitioner – Liverpool (L5 )  - School nursery class 

Start: September 2026 - long term
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 08:30–15:30
Pay: £101.40–£105 per day
Contract: Temp to perm after a set number of weeks on supply

Milk Education is working exclusively with a primary school in the Anfield area of Liverpool to recruit an Early Years Practitioner who can offer consistent, high-quality support across the early years phase. The school is committed to finding someone who can join their team long-term and grow within the role.

About the Role:
The school is looking for someone confident, nurturing, and experienced in supporting children in a school nursery class. You will help create a calm, engaging, and inclusive learning environment while supporting the class teacher with daily routines, activities, and early development milestones.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support children in a school nursery class across the early years setting

  • Help with daily routines, play-based learning, and early development

  • Prepare resources and contribute to a positive classroom atmosphere

  • Work closely with the teacher and wider early years team

Requirements:

  • Experience working with EYFS children in a nursery, school or similar setting in the last 12 months

  • Level 3 or above in Early Years or experience in a EYFS setting

  • Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one
