  • Provide one-to-one and small-group support where required.
  • Encourage positive behaviour and help build pupils' confidence and independence.
  • Assist children with their communication, social, and emotional development.
  • Support pupils with a range of additional and complex needs.
  • Help create a safe, engaging, positive, and inclusive learning environment.
  • Work closely with teachers and other professionals to meet pupils' individual needs.
  • Support with personal care where required.
  • Assist with activities both inside and outside the classroom.

What We're Looking For

  • Reliability, commitment, and a genuine passion for supporting young people.
  • The ability to remain calm and confident in challenging situations.
  • A desire to build positive and trusting relationships with pupils.
  • Experience working with children, in care, or with vulnerable individuals is beneficial but not essential.

In Return, You Can Expect

  • Full training and ongoing professional development.
  • A supportive specialist school environment with experienced staff.
  • The opportunity to gain valuable experience in education and SEND.
  • Competitive rates of pay.
  • A varied role where no two days are the same.
  • A rewarding opportunity to make a lasting difference to children's lives.

Our staff are paid on a PAYE basis, so you can rest assured that you're paying the right level of Tax and National Insurance, with no hidden admin charges coming out of your hard-earned pay.
