Milk Education is working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive secondary school on the Wirral that is seeking a passionate and creative Performing Arts Teacher to join their team.

This role is available on a full-time or part-time basis, with an immediate start available. It is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated Performing Arts specialist who can inspire young people through Dance, Drama, Music, or Acting and help students develop confidence, creativity, and performance skills.

Your Main Responsibilities Will Include:

• Deliver engaging and creative Performing Arts lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Support students in developing confidence, communication, and self-expression through performance.
• Prepare students for performances, assessments, and GCSE coursework.
• Adapt lessons and activities to meet the needs of all learners.
• Encourage participation, collaboration, and positive behaviour through creative learning.
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to support achievement.
• Create an inclusive and inspiring learning environment where students can thrive.
• Build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.

Requirements or Skills:

• Strong subject knowledge within Performing Arts, including Dance, Drama, Music, Acting, or a related discipline.
• Experience teaching or delivering Performing Arts sessions to secondary-aged students.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is desirable but not essential for candidates with relevant experience.
• A passion for inspiring young people through the arts.
• Strong classroom management and behaviour management skills.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
• Ability to engage and motivate students of varying abilities.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one.
